Guys that get manicures and pedicures

I was meeting a a friend at Governors Comedy Club last week and arrived a little early. I walked over to bar area and overheard this guy complaining to the bartender about how he was unhappy with the service he received at at xyz company. The bartender seemed to agree with him entirely. So what was he unhappy about? XYZ was an Asian nail salon and the guy got a manicure and pedicure. He was unhappy that they only used one coat of clear polish instead of two.

More and more I hear about the "Metrosexual man" and would like to know what the ladies think about this. Is it a turn on or turn off?

It is not a turn off if he does not spend more time grooming himself than I do.

There is nothing wrong with a man having a manicure and/or pedicure! It just tells me that he cares about the way he looks. However, lose the clear nail polish! A nice buff or just leaving them as is, is just fine. And by the way, if you have never had a pedicure I reccommend it highly. I am a nail tech and have built a large male pedicure clientele. The men keep coming back for the best part, the foot massage. Take it from me, a pedicure is a treat and one you will be looking forward to time and time again!

i don't like clear polish on a man, but i definitely like a man with clean & trimmed nails. a manicure is good, but skip the clear polish. Also the same goes for pedicures. I encouraged my last boyfriend to go with me for "his & her" pedicures, but he thought it was too gay.

Nothing better than a clean, neat appearance on a man. Love the idea of his manicure, but I do agree, a buff is a better look than clear polish. I actually think that a man who will go for a manicure and/or pedicure shows how secure he is with himself. :>)

A long time ago someone once told me that part of a good first impression are well groomed hands and it has always stuck with me. Personally I think it applies to men as well as the women. I agree with the other comments though that the clear nail isnt necessary
